After ten years of research, Apple has released the Apple Vision Pro, its latest technological collection of augmented and virtual reality headsets.
This is the first new product category that the company has entered since the 2015 launch of the Apple Watch.
Apple unveiled the Vision Pro headset at its Worldwide Developer Conference(WWDC) in June.
Apple said today that the Friday, February 2nd, launch date for the Vision Pro headset in the US is confirmed.
Apple announced in a press statement on Monday that the Vision Pro will be available at all US Apple Store locations. In addition, It’ll also be available on the Apple Online Store.
According to the information on the product website, pre-orders for the Vision Pro will begin on January 19 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time.
The Apple Vision Pro’s price has been known for some time; $3,499 is the cost of the 256GB storage version.
At launch, Apple Vision Pro will only be available in the United States. but Apple has plans to make it accessible in “more countries” worldwide later this year.
