According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple may elect to unveil its remaining goods for 2022, which include an upgraded iPad Pro, Mac mini, and 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, rather than a digital event, through press releases on its website.

According to Gurman’s latest Power On newsletter, Apple is “expected to unveil its remaining 2022 items via press announcements, website updates, and briefings with select members of the press” rather announcing a digital event. Apple was said to be preparing a second autumn event in October focused on the Mac and iPad, but that may no longer be the case.

For the rest of 2022, Apple looks to have three product upgrades planned: updated 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models with the M2 processor, an updated Mac mini with M2 and unnamed “M2 Pro” chip possibilities, and updated 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models.

In June, Apple unveiled the M2 processor for the new MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro. Aside from the new CPU, the modifications to the Macs and iPads will be minor, with no substantial design changes rumored for the machines. In the past, Apple has announced even quite big goods through press release, such as the AirPods Max and the original AirPods Pro.
