Microsoft has officially authorized a method for running Windows 11 on ARM-based Macs, albeit not in the way you may expect.

The business has “approved” the use of Parallels Desktop 18 to run the ARM versions of Windows 11 Pro and Enterprise on M1- and M2-based Macs in a new support document.

iOS 16.4 brings back the new Home app architecture.

Developers who have already updated the iOS 16.4 beta, which was published on Thursday, have reported that the Home app once again asks users to upgrade to the new architecture.

According to Apple, this new design improves the efficiency and dependability of using Home Kit devices. For example, all Apple devices linked to your iCloud account must be running the most recent operating system version.

When this option was initially introduced in iOS 16.2, consumers claimed that their Home Kit devices became stuck in “updating” or “configuring” mode.

Because iOS 16.4 is currently in beta, we can’t guarantee that the new Home app architecture will be available to customers when the software update is officially released.

We recommend that developers using the most recent iOS beta wait a little longer before upgrading to the new Home app architecture.
