According to a report from Taiwan’s Economic Daily News published today, the iPhone 15 models will be equipped with a more power-efficient OLED display driver chip made using a 28nm process as opposed to a 40nm process for current models.

The 28nm chip’s main advantage would be lower power consumption, which might help iPhone 15 models’ batteries last longer.

The Dynamic Island is anticipated to be extended to the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, even though no significant display upgrades have been rumored for the upcoming iPhones.

On the iPhone 15 Pro models, the bezels around the display are also anticipated to be thinner, which could give those devices a look similar to the Apple Watch Series 8.
