Instagram New Update Limits Reels, Posts and Stories Reach to Close Friends

Instagram now will allow you to limit the post reach to close friends only. The new update will help you limit stores, reels, and posts to a limited audience.

A green star icon will be next to their accounts to identify their close friends. Users need to accept or reject the new feature.

To accept the feature, select the Audeince option when posting the update on the image and video-sharing website. Then click on Close Friends option and finally click “Done”, and share the post.

Post shared this way will only be visible to your close friends. This new feature is a new step to improve the privacy of Instagram.

It is essential to know that this feature has only been available for stores since 2018, but it is now enhanced to reels and posts.
