Google Reveals New Bugdroid Logo and Wordmark

Finally, after four years, Google has changed the iconic Bugdroid logo and the new typography for the Android wordmark. Google has updated the Android logo with a 3D version of the Bugdroid.

The company has also changed the logo’s font and added a new capital “A” at the start of the “Android” instead of the lowercase words for the entire Android word. This recent change was seen first in an Android ad on the Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 4.

Google then confirmed the changes to the famous 9to5Google blog and hints on some more appealing changes and more announcements in the future. It is understood that the updated brand identity of Android will appear everywhere once Google makes it official.

It means that users will see that new logo on Android websites, TV & online ads, and on trade shows such as MWC and CES.
