WhatsApp is Introducing Filters and Backgrounds for Video Calls

Today, on the official forum, WhatsApp announced a new feature for video calls. WhatsApp users will have the option to use filters and backgrounds in video calls! This new update and all new filters will make the video chat feature more adorable and catchy.

In the new WhatsApp update, there are more than nine different types of filters, such as “Vintage TV,” “Black & White,” and “Light Leak,” for more creative video calls and chats.

Besides the new filters, there are also 10 brand-new video backgrounds from which users can choose. These new backgrounds include “Office,” “Beach,” and “Sunset” options.

With this artificial background, users in the video chats can hide their actual surroundings or add a new touch to calls. Similarly, for video improvements, low-light handling is added for better video quality during calls.

Soon, these features will be available in the new WhatsApp update for both Android and iOS users. To avail of them, it is recommended that you update to the latest version of Meta’s video and messaging app.
