According to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Google Inc., there are more than 3 billion active Android users. Google CEO Sundar Pichai claimed that Android devices now have 3B monthly active users across the globe.
These devices include Google Pixel and other platforms for which Android is the main software behind. Google’s CEO stated that around 8 billion monthly searches were conducted using Google’s lens.
The pre-orders of Google Pixel are also a good sign and response from Android users, added Mr. Sundar. He also said that Google is working on a new search functionality where users can search through images and texts simultaneously. This multi-search functionality will be available later this year to all Google users for conducting local searches.
Furthermore, Mr. Pichai also shared some information about YouTube Shorts. According to Google’s CEO, Shorts are getting more than 1.5 billion new sign-ins.
